I have no problem admitting that I've gotten significantly dumber since becoming a parent. Sleep deprivation, stress, and spending your days talking to someone whose vocabulary is limited to three syllables will do that to a person. It's so bad that I'm embarrassed to tell you how many tries it took me to spell "syllable" correctly just now, for example.
My depleted supply of brain cells, however, has not stopped me from having some pretty major revelations about how post-baby me is different from pre-baby me. I think pre-baby me might have been a wee bit insensitive about some things related to parenting, and I kinda feel like a jerk about that.
